Afterwards we picked up Kristi and headed to Pete's Burgers for breakfast. You've probably already guessed what kind of restaurant Pete's is and if you guessed Mexican you're right!
Even the seats have festive decorations for you to sit on:
After breakfast we all headed for the fashion district. When we left I found a flier for cheap dental work on my car. This excited me because fliers on cars are very common in Los Angeles so it was yet another classic LA experience.
The fashion district was crazy. Tons of shops selling dirt cheap clothes. Little carts and trucks selling all kinds of food were everywhere. It was pretty much like being in another country. I didn't feel comfortable pulling my camera out so unfortunately I don't have any pictures of it. At one store an employee got mad at his boss and quit right on the spot. Luckily for us our purchase had just been completed since the boss got mad and told the other employee to close the store.
After the fashion district we headed back to Elysian Park to play some disc golf. The course has some serious elevation change and I got quite the workout every time my disc went astray.
Once we were done playing disc golf we headed up to Pasadena for a little shopping. Coming back on the 110 freeway I kept laughing because they have these crazy on-ramps. Picture a hole in one of those freeway sound barriers. About a car length past the hole is a stop sign. And about a car length past the stop sign is 70 MPH traffic. You definitely need a car with good acceleration and a driver with determination.
Parking under the orange tree in the backyard after getting back from Pasadena:
After eating some food Jon and I headed to the laundromat.
Can you spot the koala?
Not a bad start to the month. I figure anytime you can walk around in shorts and a t-shirt in November it's bound to be good, right?

Your breakfast looks really good: like it would stick to your ribs all day. Where Jon went running, the scenery is beautiful. His neighborhood buildings are interesting. Too bad the lemons were such, well, lemons.
